“When I was expecting our 5th child, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. We began looking for a culprit and turned to the most logical place. The kitchen. I quickly routed through everything with a preservative, artificial color or artificial flavor. Once that task was complete I turned my efforts to our bathroom. After a few short hours of researching ingredients that we couldn’t even pronounce, I threw out 98% of what we were using to get our family “clean”.

With my husband going through treatment and me pregnant, money was tighter than ever. We needed soaps and other personal care products for our family but the natural ones were beyond our tight budget.

Not to be deterred, I got crafty in the kitchen and re-learned how to make bar soap. I had been taught by my grandmother when I was little but it was much easier to just buy it when my family began to grow.

Once I mastered soap making my curiosity got the best of me and I taught myself how to make the majority of our personal care products.

I was soon a regular vendor at the Haney Farmers Market, and the rest, shall we say is history. We now have products in many stores across Western Canada, and I am very proud of our healthy alternatives to bring into your homes and families”

Product recipes have been designed using only the finest quality food grade ingredients available. Most ingredients are purchased from local suppliers within 65 km of Maple Ridge, including the recyclable packaging. All imported ingredients are only ethically sourced, fair trade organic.
